What do I need to bring to my PittStart session?

It is important that you are prepared as you arrive on campus for your PittStart session. We recommend that you bring your PittStart confirmation letter (contained in your PittStart confirmation packet) or PittStart confirmation email, comfortable shoes, umbrella and a photo ID. It is also important that you bring any information that your academic school has sent to you, or requested that you have in your possession, during your course registration process. Even though activities and some meals are provided during the session, we do suggest that students bring extra money to the PittStart session just in case.

For students staying overnight at the PittStart session…

Your residence hall room will be equipped with pillow, linens and towels for the length of your stay. We recommend that you bring an alarm clock, shower shoes and all personal toiletries with you. You may also want to bring a blanket as the rooms could get cool.
