You must check out and return your room keycard by 4:30 pm to Panther Central. Please return your room keycard in its original envelope. There will be a $20.00 fee assessed for keycards that are not returned.

Please shut your room door when exiting and should you have any problems, please let a Freshman Peer Counselor know. Cleaning crews will begin preparing rooms for the next PittStart session at 4:30 pm.

Departing Campus

You are free to depart from campus after you have registered for your fall term classes. Individual academic advising and registration appointments for students are assigned by each academic advising center. Please read carefully through the "Academic Advising & Placement Exams" section of the website for your specific school to learn more about the assignment of advising appointments. All students must be available for advisement and enrollment until the evening hours. Please keep this in mind when making travel arrangements. We ask that you select a session that will allow you to dedicate the necesary time for your PittStart session.
