Weather: I've lived near Pittsburgh my whole life so I'm used to the weather. For you students that don't live nearby, the winters are cold and snowy and we get our fair share of rain during the warmer months.

I study: I study in the Cathedral of Learning because its open 24/7 and is generally a more quiet area. It tends not to be as crowded as some of the libraries. It also has wooden, uncomfortable chairs that keep me from falling asleep.

Student organizations: Probably the best decision I made so far in college was to join some student organizations. I'm currently a member of the Pathfinders and the Pittsburgh Rugby Football Club, and through these two groups I've made all my friends.

Oakland: I love living in Oakland! I live off campus in South Oakland and have zero complaints. Its pretty much all college students and makes for a fun place to live.

Choosing a major: Choosing a major is a major step in your college career and one that I've not taken yet. My advice would be take classes that you are interested in and see if they fit you. Make your major fit you and not the other way around.
