You may only register for a PittStart session after the University of Pittsburgh's Office of
Admissions and Financial Aid receives your $300 enrollment fee. As a reminder, the enrollment fee
deadline is May 1, 2009. Approximately five business days after you submit your enrollment fee, you will
be sent PittStart registration information via email and direct mail that will enable you to access the
available PittStart dates online.
PittStart sessions occur in May through August and are school-specific. Registration for PittStart is
on a first come, first served basis for students who have paid their enrollment fee. By registering
online, you will know immediately which dates are available at your time of log-in. If Internet access is
not available to you at your home, school or local library, please contact us at 412-624-7488 and we will
be happy to assist you. Also please be aware that students have the option of registering for the last
PittStart session, occuring on August 24/25, and moving directly into their fall term residence hall room.
If you are traveling from afar and would like to make a single trip to Pittsburgh, this option may be best
for you. You may register for your PittStart session by clicking on the button below.
Once you have registered online for your PittStart session, you will receive an email confirmation of
your PittStart session date. A confirmation packet will also be sent to you in the mail. This packet will
contain a confirmation letter, tentative student agenda, a tentative parent agenda, campus map and Student
Health Immunization Form. Agendas, campus map and necessary forms are also available on the PittStart website.
**Please note: Registration for the PittStart session and for on-campus overnight accommodations are two
separate steps. You may learn more by visiting the "Accommodations" section of the website.
